This afternoon I was reading Heisenberg on the Platonic conception of beauty in Plotinus, in a book by Wilber (sometimes life is that complex!)
Plotinus said, "Beauty is the translucence, through the material phenomenon, of the eternal splendor of the 'one'"
I happened to look up to see our black pug Molly resting her face on my leg. I said to her, "Molly, you probably don't realize it, but your beauty is a shining forth of the One who is in all that is." Molly sighed knowingly.
